Iphonecare.se sells mobile parts and accessories, and lately they decided to offer repair services for their customers. The idea was to make the process automatic, smooth and understandable for the end user. On the phone repair page a customer can select the brand, model and device type he needs repaired. Then they will see the repair types available together with the pricing. Ticking the checkboxes will add the repair jobs to his order, and they can also select how he wants to deliver the device — bring it to the shop himself or send by post. Customer can shop for other products and add them to cart, and on checkout we programmatically split the order into two to separate the repair orders from regular orders. In the admin backend the admin will see the repair type orders in a separate section, and the customer will see a separate tab on their dashboard where they can check the repair progress.
