E-commerce Consultant

We are an e-commerce software development agency with over 12 years of experience in the market. Our focus is on serving online stores in North America, the EU, and the UK, leveraging platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and Shopware.

We are expanding our services and seeking a dedicated and experienced E-commerce Consultant to join our team. As an E-commerce Consultant, you will work on our clients’ projects to ensure the highest possible efficiency and performance of their e-commerce solutions. You will collaborate closely with development, pre-sale, and digital marketing teams to help clients achieve optimal results from their online sales channels. Your role will involve conducting in-depth webshop analyses, providing competitor and market research, and generating innovative ideas to increase sales.

Responsibilities:

Client Project Optimization:

  • 🔸 Collaborate with clients to ensure their e-commerce solutions are performing at peak efficiency, helping them maximize the potential of their online shops.
  • 🔸 Conduct thorough analyses of clients’ webshops, identifying opportunities to improve business performance and increase sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • 🔸 Work closely with development, pre-sale, and digital marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance the client’s online sales channels.
  • 🔸 Assist clients in getting the most out of their e-commerce platforms by providing expert advice on Magento/Adobe Commerce and related technologies.

Competitor & Market Analysis:

  • 🔸 Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in clients’ e-commerce strategies.
  • 🔸 Generate and present actionable insights and ideas to clients that will help them stay ahead of the competition.

E-commerce Operations & Upselling:

  • 🔸 Leverage your deep understanding of e-commerce back-office operations, including fulfillment, ERP, and PIM, to optimize clients’ business processes.
  • 🔸 Maintain a commercially minded approach, proactively seeking opportunities to upsell additional services and solutions that benefit the client.

Continuous Learning & Trend Analysis:

  • 🔸 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and regulations in the e-commerce industry, ensuring that your knowledge remains current and relevant.
  • 🔸 Actively seek out learning opportunities to enhance your expertise and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Requirements:

  • ▪️ 4+ years of experience in online B2C/B2B business or within a digital marketing agency.
  • ▪️ Deep understanding of Magento/Adobe e-commerce platforms, SEO, PPC, and UX concepts.
  • ▪️ Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  • ▪️ Proactive and eager to learn, with a keen interest in keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
  • ▪️ In-depth knowledge of e-commerce back-office operations, including fulfillment, ERP, and PIM.
  • ▪️ Strong experience working with Jira/Confluence;
  • ▪️ Advanced English level (C1) is required for effective communication in an international environment.
